Dont know if there's already a thread about the new Kreator CD right now, but here's one for you now. More info at the official website.

| I'll probably give it a listen. The last truly decent (I said decent, not amazing) Kreator album was Violent Revolution. Enemy of God had its moments as well but I haven't revisited that one in 4-5 years. |

| Don't rate 'Violent Revolution' at all. Had people telling me it's better than 'Coma of Souls'. Me hole it is. Though Coma is hardly a whopper piece of work it's better than that pedestrian plod-fest that is 'Violent Revolution'. Heard a snippet from the new album on their YouTube channel yesterday and Mille's voice didn't sound too bad at all, especially when you compare it to his Cadbury's parrot squawk live, which is utterly hideous. |

| I liked the last album (first one since Extreme Aggression that I enjoyed enough to listen to more than a couple of times) so will give this one a chance. That artwork's pretty cool. |

| I thought Hordes of Chaos was alright, especially the title track, it is the only Kreator release I bought beyond Extreme Aggression & Coma of Souls mind you..... that probably says something though. Artwork is great as always. |

Thought it was Maniac who was the Cadbury's parrot! |

I think that album is a lark. Entertaining, no more no less. Definitely not a classic though.
I remember seeing them in Eamon Doran's on that tour. People were crying for them to come over and do their own headline show but from what I recall there was only about 150 there. Great show though, Mille was at pains to let us know what he thought of the venue. |

Remember that show as well! He wasn't happy about the size of Doran's alright given what I guess he had been used to across Europe as well as the last venue he played in Ireland back in 1990, The Top Hat. Still, it wasn't packed/sold out so to be fair, the venue size warranted it.
They came back a while later and did the Music Centre with Cannibal Corpse. |

I really enjoyed Violent Revolution! Granted it's been 4-5 years since I've listened to it properly but I thought there was a handful of really great tracks on it. Must give it a spin tonight.
The real question is: Endless Pain or Pleasure to Kill? |

| I think the Music Centre show was before Doran's! Which would heighten the disgust at the state of the venue I'd imagine! |

You're right! I got the two mixed up date wise. |

Fuck. Tough question. Too difficult for me to call. I reckon I've listened to 'Pleasure' more, but I couldn't do with one over the other. I might be in the minority, but I'd rate 'Terrible Certainty' and 'Extreme Aggression' just as canonical. |

I thought the last album was quite impressive actually, for what it was. Very much looking forward to this one.
Personally, Terrible Certainty is my favourite Kreator album of the lot. |

Though not a major fan of the album's sound overall it has some absolutely classic Kreator tunes on it! |
