A lot of very positive comments on Facebook about it tonight. I'll have to make an appearance at it over the next few days.
As for the Book of Eli, an awful lot of religion in it alright, I'm not sure what they were trying to say exactly about it, but it was still pretty good. |

caught the Avengers last night. absolutely loved it, think Tom Hiddlestone (Loki) is a cracking actor. without spoilers, it also has the first well characterised Hulk i think to have ever made it to the big screen.
stick around after the credits, as if you didn't know that about any Marvel film these days
as an aside it was also the first film I've seen in 3D. Also highly impressive. |

I intentionally avoided the 3D version.. cant stand it.
Hulk was done very well... would be mad to have another crack at an individual Hulk movie again.
Loki has been my favourite villain in all the Marvel films... phenominal actor. |

The Hulk stole the movie. Every scene with him in it was amazing. They really took the character with the worst of the movies building up to this and made him great.
The after credits scene isn't actually after the credits, its just after they name all the big names, about 2 minutes in. Stayed around til the end of the real credits and there was nothing |

Going to The Avengers tomorrow. 100% hyped. Having enjoyed all the the prev. Marvel Studios films, I am very excited to see the culmination of those events.
I wonder when and if they'll do the Civil War storyline... |

| Avengers was decent alright! I felt like an 8-10 year old again. I think the Hulk worked so well because when he did Hulk out it was kept fairly light hearted and not as serious as the previous Hulk films. |

| Well, I certainly wasn't disappointed with any of that. Big, loud fun so it was. Off to see it again - soon I think. Possibly even in 3D. |

Saw it last night in 3d and while the film is awesome, very very awesome, I couldn't see the point in the 3d as it doesn't really play up to it. There wasn't any scenes that seemed made for it specifically.
That said, I enjoyed every second of it! Will definitely go see it again! |

You're right there...
Avengers wasn't intentionally filmed for 3D at all.
Great movie! But don't waste your money!
But probably won't bother with 3D again unless I know for definite the flick was intentionally filmed for 3D.
On another note!
Loved the Black Sabbath 'Never Say Die' t-shirt RDJ wore throughout the flick. I WANT ONE...!!! |

Scott did say he wouldn't have anything less than an R rating for it. Now wether he has much control over that or not I don't know. |

| I watched a mad film yesterday called Alyce. It's about a bird basically going on a killing spree. Utterly OTT gore but absolutely fucking gas craic. Worth a look. |
