We'll all be lonely old men eventually. |

He has been doing pretty much the exact same thing since he moved to LA in the late 80s, playing slots and hanging around the Rainbow all the time. Granted, the cunt's in his mid 60s now and obviously has had to slow down somewhat when it comes to elements of his lifestyle but I don't think there's anything particularly 'sad' about the guy.
Thinking this myself. Enjoyed the film and quite liked the way they portrayed him; an aging rocker enjoying the simpler pleasures in life. Reminded me a bit of the Black Sabbath book wrote from the perspective of the roadies, where it shows the band as being fairly humble, and down to earth in their private lives'.
All that aside, at least he had the high score on the quiz machine. |

Absolutely, hope there isn't a movie about it though. |

| Didn't think he came across as sad either myself. Came across just how I expected him to really, a very likeable, down to earth character and as Matt says, very aware of who he is and how the world works in general. No bullshit about him at all. Still has all his own hair too, the cunt. |

Yiser all thick lads...
A thousand nights, I've spent alone,
Solitaire, to the bone,
But I don't mind, I'm my own best friend,
From the beginning, to the end,
My life, my heart, black night, my star,
Capricorn
December's child, the only one,
What I do, is what I've done,
I realize, I get so cold,
When I was young I was already old,
My life, my heart, black night, my star,
Capricorn
I always knew, the only way,
Is never live, beyond today,
They proved me right, they proved me wrong,
But they can never last this long,
My life, my heart, black night, dark star,
Capricorn
Lemmy has always been about solitude, he's a self confessed lone wolf. |

| I was disappointed that the Lemmy cutting up chips scene couldn't have been elaborated on a bit more. |

| I don't get the sad old man thing either. I thought he came across as a a fairly spot on guy. Ulrich is a fucking knob however!! I thought Dave Grohl's story about Lemmy meeting Justin from The Darkness was pretty funny! |
