| The Maiden die hards go nuts for these things. The 7"s go for a right bit so I can only assume you may get 3 figures for them |

Just to join in on the original posters question.
I'm thinking of chucking a few things on ebay myself. What could I expect to get for a general Maiden Bootleg on vinyl? Same goes for Slayer Metallica etc etc? I guess I'm asking would it be worth my while putting that stuff up? |

going from popsike records of ebay you'd get between £60-£100 depending on the whim of bidders
as for Ariaga 2 question, depending on the rarity of the bootleg (ie if it's one from late 80'-late 90's) it could be worth a fair bit and reach a good price, as for the recently released 2000+ era boots of those bands £10-£20, once again depending on what bidders you get. |

Not sure what they go for now, but I sold a POM on ebay about 2005ish and got either £150 or £180. I get the impression that POM is probably the easiest to find.
As far as I know there's Killers - Somewhere in Time available on lp.
The 7 inches generally go for more then the lps and there's every single from Sanctuary to Stranger in a Strange Land I think.
The value of them is becuase there would be fuck all of them with the being pressed for the Irish market. |

The green EMI's seem to command the highest prices.
Couple to watch

A couple of Irish Maiden 7"s went for three figures recently on ebay, as did a copy of AC/DC's Back In Black. I keep dreaming that I'm gonna find a load of these in a Charity Shop somewhere, someday. |

| Seen the green label emi's in charity shops - pity they all turn out to be Cliff Richard ones lol. The Irish edditions of mid 70s vertigo records are on the blue philips label - have sabbath and lizzy lps on that label. Another big cash item are irish Cure 7"s |

Aye, some of my Lizzy albums are on the blue label as well. Must keep an eye out for Cure stuff in future then. Early U2 stuff is worth a packet too. |

I have The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, 2 Minutes to Midnight and Wasted Years all Irish pressings. Bought them in school off a guy who robbed them off his brother, as part of 10 record lot with a few other Maiden singles and Seasons in the Abyss LP. Price IR£2.
Had them for about 15 years before I found out there was anything special about them. I'd thought all along that the Running Free Live Pic Disc was the real bargain out of the bunch. |

Nice one nh. It's great when you get bargains like that. Your story reminds me of the time I landed an early pressing of Sabbaths Vol. 4 from a guy in School for £1. I nearly took his hand off. Funny, he said it was his Brothers too. |
