I Used to use Grooveshark a lot to have some background music streaming on my work computer, i.e. when I have no access to my library.
It and Pandora are no longer any use, is there anything half daycent these days that has a good selection of metal in it where you can cue up a big playlist?
Did a bit of searching and fluted around with a few sites but nothing anywhere near as handy as grooveshark. |

Spotify, if you're willing to pay for it.
From a metal perspective it's not as good as Grooveshark in terms of variety of music available, particularly at the more obscure end of the scale. |

| we7.com is cool. It finds similar artists to the one you input and plays it like a radio station. |

Spotify is good enough, and for a fiver a month I can't complain. Got so fed up of that fucking 'dun dun, dun dun dun, dun dun dun, dun dun dun' and 'Hi, my name's mark, and I'm NAT a smoker'.
With every fibre of my body mark, I hope you're back on them again. |

| Grooveshark has a pretty extensive library, though it's browser based. Desktop applications for it seem a bit crap. |
