St. Anger would definitely have been one for me too. I was 14-15 when it came out (I didn't realise that was nearly 10 years ago!) and just starting to really get into Metallica. I had the black album (which I still rate!), puppets, ride the lightning, kill em all and Justice, and thought 'awesome, more of the same!'
Absolutely gutted at how bad it was, and when I got to track 4 and still hadn't heard a note of lead I realised I'd wasted my hard-earned. I don't think I've listened to it since. |

| A total turd I bought was an album by Hordes Of Satan. It had a Pitch Shifter connection about 10 years after PS were any good. I should have known. Thankfully I sold it earlier in the year and managed to get about a tenner for it. |

Have to say I agree with Hellvomit on Sepultura 'Chaos AD'. A steaming, rancid turd of an album. Great artwork but that was about it. Uninspiring shite and sadly the sign of things to come.
A sure sign for me that it was time to leave my last band was when they were all enthusing about how great "Chaos AD" was in the van while on tour.
Crock of shit record, enjoyable only for its' sheer unintentional hilarity. |

| Most 90s 'mainstream' metal was a fucking embarrassment. Sepultura, Pantera, White Zombie, Fear Factory, Biohazard. Just garbage. |

Was never a big fan of chaos ad apart from the song refuse resist
Just remember in a Dundalk gambling/pool hall they had an
old jukebox and it was free to play songs and i dunno how but
among some awful dance they had chaos ad the whole album.
Remember putting it on when aloada skangers were in playing
roulette and they went nuts ,ended up getting the woman that
worked there to turn it off , shoulda asked them were they more a fan
of beneath the remains then |

| I remember a friend of mine had a similar situation when he put on Madness in the pool hall of the pavilion in belfast. They all went up to the barman and told him to switch it off, and so my mate went over and demanded his quid back. After much debate, the barman relented and gave him the quid, which he immediately put back into the jukebox and put Madness on again. |
