I quite like Martinez, and for that reason, I'd rather if he didn't become Liverpool manager. If it did happen, however, he might take James McCarthy with him and having him play for Liverpool on a regular basis would certainly raise his stock with Trappatoni and Ireland in the future.
But I digressify. I've heard dark rumours from poisonous grapevines that none other than Davey Moyes is being lined up as a possible replacement. If that happens, a voodoo doll of him will be joining the Nick Barmby one I've been letting my dog sodomise for the last number of years in my gaff. I had one of Abel Xavier for a while, but even my mindlessly savage canine felt sorry for that tragi-comic gobshite. |

Quote: Sunderland were the among the very elite of English football, and in the 50s were the richest club in England. Now look at us: a lower mid-table side constantly hoping for better
This should serve as a warning of what could happen to a club like Liverpool |

OLE GUNNAR TO VILLA BTW, COULD BE VERY GOOD.........
Every year you hear Liverpool fans saying that "this is the year".
I agree that Solskjaer could be a good appointment for Villa.
What do you make of the prospect of Martinez for Pool?
I DON'T THINK YOU'LL HEAR IT THIS YEAR.
MARTINEZ, I LIKE HIM. HE WOULD HAVE A LOT OF ENERGY AND HE SEEMS TO GET THE BEST OUT OF WIGAN. I THINK HE WOULD DO A GOOD ENOUGH JOB.
MY PICK WOULD BE JORGEN KLOPP. BUT THE CHANCES ARE SLIM.
BENITEZ IS STILL LURKING AROUND, AND THERE'S A PARADE TO ANFIELD TO RE APPOINT HIM TONIGHT. RETROGRADE STEP IMO.
I THINK MOYES HAS DONE A GREAT JOB WITH EVERTON BUT HE WON'T GET THE JOB, HE DID BUY JELAVIC, WHO PRACTICALLY THREW HIMSELF AT LIVERPOOL. KENNY MIGHT VERY WELL BE STILL IN CHARGE HAD HE SIGNED HIM. |

| According to the boys on "off the ball" Liverpool's owners have posted on their twitter a question for all liverpool fans, "Who do they think should be next Liverpool manager ??" |

So who do ye fancy for the champions league ?
You would think Bayern, being on home turf and with better players on paper than Chelsea.

Three points that we really needed. And it seems we spoiled the anti-McCaffery protest that Dundalk fans had planned for tonight. |

He was sending Kenny picks of his Cock in January! we needed a goal scorer, Jellyfish is a goal scorer, lets let him to to the Bitters instead, so they can finish above us for once! |

Decent play off final. I wanted Blackpool to win as they have Kevin Philips to win and West Ham and their fans have delusions of grandeur, but I watched the match in the pub with some sound Hammers fans so I'm not too annoyed.
Here's hoping for a good final tonight. Two pretty detestable clubs really so I'll be a neutral. Tonight either John. terry or Harry Redknapp will be sick as a dog and either option suits me. |

| Feel sorry for Hibs and Pet Fenlon, they got an awful spanking from Hearts. Hope he hangs on to his job after a fairly disappointing season. |
