Now that the dust has settled on the Champions League, I think it's time for a Euro 2012 topic.
Who's heading over? I'll be in Poznańin3 weeks for the first Ireland match against Croatia and Ican't wait.
I reckon Ireland will put up. A good fight but gooutinthe first round due to the toughness of the group.
I reckon England could do well having losta lot of the hysterical over expectation from previous years. I don't think they'll win it though.
While Spain are obviously going to be hard tobeat, Germany are my favourites.
Apart from Ireland I will be supporting Poland (the missus is Polish) and Italy (my perennial favourite among the big guns).
My nemeses will be England as usual (apart from local rivalry, too many of their players are wankers) and Spain because I am just sick of them, though of course they play great football.
Overall though I'm just hoping for 3 weeks of exciting football. |

Inflating my hammer just thinking about it.
Must learn the words of the chorus of Olé Olé again.
Will be in barcelona for the Ireland vs Spain game. I'm told even he locals will be supporting Ireland in that game. |

I always just put 0000 when a postcode is required. Never had a problem. That's a shit thing to happen. Hope you get tickets. |

| My main concern is avoiding hearing that fucking woeful song by Ray Darcy and co. featuring that pox bottle Damien Dempsey. Patriotism at its most cringe-inducing. |

They are the squads for the friendlies. Can't imagine Spain going to the euros without a single Barcelona player. |

I dont think it is impossible for us to get out of the group,
We will have to beat Croatia which will be very tough and I think we can beat Italy, Wouldnt fancy our chances against Spain though,
Germany would be my favourites to win it and the Dutch could be dark horses also, |

| I might put £20 on England to win it. 10/1. Not bad. |

THEY GOT TO THE FINAL OF THE WORLD CUP SO THEY'RE NOT THAT DARK .
I'M WITH YOU WITH GERMANY THOUGH, MY FAVOURITES. BUT THIS TOURNAMENT OFTEN THROWS UP A SURPRISE. SWEDEN COULD BE A "REAL" DARK HORSE. |

| Yep, Germany would be my pick as well. Looking forward to the few weeks of it... I think our lads have a solid chance of making it out of the group - well capable of beating Croatia and the Italians too I think nad we're hard to score against so you'd never know about the other group games, could pull somthing out of the hat there. Supporting Spain after that as my other much loved one-time home... |

Loving people underestimating Italy again. Think they've a good chance of reaching the final after the changes Prandelli has made there (only 4-5 players 30 years+) and he's just fixed a good few things since Donadoni's mess up. I know their qualifying group was weak but they only conceded two goals - no other team did that. Team also has seven Juventus players which is no bad thing considering the season they've just had. Last time they had a season close to that was 05-06 where they lost just one game.
I dunno, most are seemingly overlooking this team for whatever reason. |
