| I love it. It's Torche, so it's always good fun. I can't fault the album in any significant way, all the songs are ridicuolously good. Hope they can stall it over here again on tour. |

| As much as I love this band, it's not that great an album, there's a few tunes on it, that quickly become forgettable back-ground noise. |

I have to agree, completely! I revisited my Torche cds recently after hearing the utterly woeful 'songs for singles'.....in return and meanderthal have not stood the test of time and I cannot listen to them at all anymore, terrible stuff. They are good live but the best thing about their live set is the 2 Floor songs they play. Forget Torche, listen to Floor's s/t album, that's all you need! |

| Yep, loved it the first time I heard it and it grows better with each listen. Saw them in Belfast a few years ago, that was the first I was aware of them, then I set about getting their albums. I do like the combination of great melodies and (what I regard as) heavy guitars. |

I like it, it's just a good heavy pop record. There's a couple of tracks I skip through but hey, no-one's perfect.
I still love that self titled Floor LP, Torche are a different beast. You can't expect a songwriter/band not to change their sound as they get older.
It's definetely heavier than soft rock. |

I like it. I thought "Songs for Singles" sucked but this is generally pretty good. They're basically a more metallic version of early Foo Fighters at this point, but that's fine with me. The new one took a couple of listens to click but it's definitely a good accompaniment to this weather. Plus, they're one of the few heavier bands I can play at home that my daughter likes (that could also be because of the album cover though!)
They're clearly just doing what they want, and more power to them. They're generally at their best when they're either at their absolute poppiest, or heaviest, and this album is clearly the former, whereas the last one was a bit too middle of the road.
Still think "In Return" was their finest hour to be honest. |

| I actually really liked Songs for Singles as well, my only gripe is that its over before you know it. Some cracking tunes on it though, particularly the closing three. |

I stand over the glowing review of it that was up on the main page a while ago
It's perfect Summer music that, as stated above, just flows great. Think I'll mow the lawn later to it. |

| I like Torche and have given this a load of play but I don't think its their strongest stuff. There is a couple of decent tunes but even at that there is nothing that really sticks. Not terrible but not great. |
