I have an important new idea, but I'm not sure if it will work.
If I bought a violin and held it like a guitar would I be able to play it with a pick or would it make no sound?
Also has anybody ever played a violin through a wah pedal? |

It would make a sound yes, but probably not a violiny sound. I would recommend an electric violin as something a bit more suitable.
I *think* Pat McManus *might* have done this before. I'll ask a friend of mine. |

You might be better off just getting a mandolin. |

His word for word reply: "With Cletus he did. There was a point about two years ago when he was running it through a Line6 echo pedal and an old Peavey head straight to the desk. I think that just came out of boredom."
If that's any use to you, I don't know. |
