| This looks awesome, I'd be tempted to tag along for this down to HP. |

| Flight here for £35 from Gatwick to Copenhagen with Easy Jet, I'm half tempted to book it this weekend. Am I being a spa - what price is the ticket? |

Thazz one helluva planned trip and if you'll pull it off like that, you're more than likely to end up completely fucked and worn out for sure!
Other than that, "Metal Magic" IS indeed very tempting, although I can't be arsed into the camping bit these days anymore, no longer interested in shitting in either Dixis (containing the steaming fruits of your predecessors) or the woods, not sleeping for at least a couple of hours (yeah, thazz an old man speaking right there) + other Metal-Festival-Hobo-Life adventures! Besides, missing -due to whatever reasons- the bus transfer (the chaotic bit admittedly sounded awesome!) means you're pretty much fucked and lost in Copenhagen, right? |

| Nah Dennis, it's easy to get to Fredericia from Copenhagen. It should only take you 1.5hrs on the train (if my memory serves me correct). I might actually go down the hotel route also if what Ustu says is right and there's one very close by. Whatever about getting more than 2-3 hours sleep, at least those hours would be spent in a comfortable bed! |

| Pfffffft, I'm 100% doing the Metal Magic-HP-HOA trip next year, fuck yer hotels. Last year this Brazillian chick paid 10 euros just to get a shower at the hotel then on the way back a bird crapped on her head and she had to do it again. First and only camping trip ever for her i'm pretty sure! |

Write your will before you go. |

Killer festival! Enjoyed it a lot.
+ Liked the venue and location in general. Very scruffy look to it which fits well within the overall messy vibe. Nice little town to do a bit of sightseeing as well.
+ Band-wise: Best Attic show I've seen so far. Pretty sure they've made a lot new fans. Same goes for Occvlta despite them being pretty off their faces. Also liked Hell, Church Bizarre, the MF/KD cover thingy, Denial Of God, Antichrist, Evil Spirit and Deathhammer (covering 'Heavy Metal Breakdown', hehe).
+ I don't think it was officially allowed to bring your own beverages into the venue/in front of the stage but nobody's ever said a word, so I kept doing it and saved heaps of money that way.
+ The general state of some people at night. Jaysis.
+ Never been in a portaloo without TP. And compared to German metal festivals, there was lot less shit on the toilet seats, too. Woop woop!
- Not much of a The Devil's Blood fan anyway but this was by far the most boring show of them I've seen. Yawn fest.
- Also thought Witch Cross sounded fairly weak compared to their performance at KIT.
- I still don't 'get' Inquisition.
- Instable weather. Too much rain and blazing hot sunshine.
- The festival food was rather crappy. (Saturday excluded)
And since it's already been mentioned in the HP thread... the state of Mr Cannon after day 1 (and the photo doesn't really do it justice):
He even allowed a certain Mr Sexyboy to punch him on one of the bruises to make the whole situation look more colourful. Ahem... |
