Scimitar: very, very tight. Wasn't impressed by their demo, but for a first gig (I think) they blew me away.
Summoner: can't go wrong with them. Excellent riffage and advice from Barney, even if he couldn't remember it. 
Rat's Blood: fucking top notch. Love the tape, but ten times better live.
Great turnout for this. Pity certain members of the crowd were the textbook definition of 'spide punks.' That wee kid who boked his ring up at 10pm was a pain in the hole. I seem to think he was hitting people with a belt by the end, or maybe it was one of the plastic swords.
The distro table left me drooling: Poison Girls boxset, Severed Head of State, Crass, FUAL, Pink Turds in Space, Maximumrocknroll, Back 2 Front. 
Two personal favourite moments were Matty crushing a can on his forehead and Donal blanking me after I said hello to him.
What a night. |

Really enjoyed this! great crowd, great music, much dancing! Thanks to everyone for coming down (especially the volunteers!) and the bands for playing, next bout of heaviness at Warzone will be Vestiges, Downfall of Gaia and Bacchus, playing on the 14th of July. Melodic crust (with added epic)
