| Ah, you have to laugh. Creationists remind me of people who say "I don't care what anyone says. I know I'm right." Fine then, that's a reasonable viewpoint, Q.E.D. All that scientific evidence with the fossils and the carbon is satan's way of testing the faith of the true believer. The arrogance is galling. OK then, from now on, I demand to be recognised as Lord High Commander Grand Poo-Bah God-Emperor of All The Stuff since my lord god made me out of cosmic space jizz and sent me here to lead you to salvation. All of your women and beer and shiny things are due as tribute to me as my birthright. Don't you dare persecute me for my religious convictions. Seems fair, no? Fucking cuntrags. |

do they actually some creationist explanation for the causeway?
a sign post that just says
"GOD WOZ ERE, 0/0/00."
Also I assume Finn McCool building it with his bare hands is now no longer considered a myth but to be considered equally plausible as god or science.
The earth might also still be flat. |

Quote: "One of the exhibits in the Giants' Causeway Visitors' Centre interpretation tells the story of the part the Giants' Causeway played in the debate about how the Earth's rocks were formed and the age of the Earth.
"This is an interactive audio exhibition in which visitors can hear some of the different debates from historical characters.
"In this exhibition we also acknowledge that for some people, this debate continues today and we reflect and respect the fact that creationists today have a different perspective on the age of the Earth from that of mainstream science."
I never really believed it was Finn McCool who made the things and anyone with any sense will put the creationist view point in the same pile as the Irish mythology one, which I presume is also represented. Should it not be either? |

"I don't mind creation stories presented as mythology, but to suggest there is any debate that Earth is 4.54 billion years old is pure shit" - Brian Cox 5/7/2012
Guess he saw the news. |

I bet that bastard Poots is involved in this somehow. My nemesis. Like an inbred sister-fingering retarded mongy Moriarty he is to me.
So, after making us look like backward muck-savages on the world stage by our Health Minister demanding to ban blood donations by homosexuals, this fucker and his ilk are now going to attempt to convince themselves that basalt is not the result of ancient volcanic activity, but was made last week out of holy lego by the baby jesus. This creationist fuckstain also wants to saturate the water supply with flouride because, and I quote, "the public should be ashamed of their dental hygiene." Does he not have a mirror in his house? Has he never seen his own Max Shreck face? Actually, it's entirely plausible to me that he casts no reflection at all. If I'm going to be ashamed of anything, it's that I may be the same species as him. I'm getting that Charlton Heston moment when he sees the Statue of Liberty on the beach. I'm away to drink some beer and listen to heavy metal before I have a rage-induced aneurysm. |

Best line in a paragraph full of beautiful and justified hatred. Well done!
I've pointed this out a few times on Facebook, but the language used in that article makes my eyes water.
"Mainstream science..."
What the fuck is this supposed to be? Is there an underground science? This reeks of complete and utter bias bullshit. "Oh you believe in Evolution and The Big Bang? How typical and sheepish."
"... the legitimacy of the creationist position..."
THERE IS NO LEGITIMACY TO THE CREATIONIST POSITION YOU DUNCEFUCKS. THERE IS NO LEGITIMACY. FOR FUCKS SAKE.
So basically, from that article, we can tell that creationism is 'legitimate' and that The National Trust is full of hipsters.

Don't you have the split scientific journal (released in audiobook format as a double 78rpm) between Marie Curie-Skłodowska (Pol/Fra) and Ernest Rutherford (NZ) from 1897?
It's much better than their widely regarded but overrated Nobel Prize winning works from a few years later. |
