Would I be wrong to surmise the following?
1. Sad,lonely girl with an Mind-Boggling array of issues enjoys the game of giving a strange, bitter old man a boner for some reason
2. Old man enjoys taking time off from hat wearing, frowning and general 'warrioring' to seek more hand shandy material from said girl.
3. ?
4. Old man allegedly threatens to kill girl.
Would I be wrong to surmise we're all sad, lonely, and with a mind-boggling array of issues?
The question is of course rhetorical. I do realize some of you must be happy, loneliness-free and issueless.
If so fulfilled and healthy, however, I fail to find an explanation for what seems to be a genuine curiosity as to the romantic affair of Sad Lonely Girl/ Old Hat Man. Such curiosity may spoil heaven, you know.
And - dear Sir - if you had a sign of an intelligence, you'd have spotted we're dealing with a NPD, and not asked any further questions.
Dear lady,
Caring as little for acronyms as I do for your retort I concede defeat as to the meaning of the last line.
It would be remiss of me to insult your intelligence, seeing as how you have spent countless hours on this thread doing a fine job of that all by yourself.
Failing to spot the irony in my post and the lack of a shit being given (see below) helps to exemplify this.
"It seems we are missing a step. I'm sure that I speak for all those seeking to read about how the fest actually went in Cork when I say that I am positively tingling with anticipation for you to fill in the blanks. "
Also:
"Would I be wrong to surmise we're all sad, lonely, and with a mind-boggling array of issues?"
I dare say that that is quite the extrapolation. At least the issues that people might mask behind the anonymity of web boards are typically not posted up for all to see.
Your husband must be so proud of you.
So, now that this rather pointless 15 pages or so is seemingly behind us- how was the fest? |

Great impressions, thank you.

Seems like say10 protests too much. Methinks the young lady has made an impression on your good self. |

I haven't been on much recently for a variety of reasons, the quietness being one.
But just stumbling across this thread has reminded me that MI is still right up there for quality tinterland ballbaggery!
There should be a sub-forum where all the hilarious threads get kept for peek on a rainy day.
btw I think darkestdepths sounds like a very interesting person, but she could have hardly picked a worse country to converse with on this particular 'problem'! The Irish communicate in the majority through the medium of piss-taking and sarcasm. Her line of straight to the point, matter of fact seriousness doesn't fare well here. She sounds like she could do with a good night out and plenty of these Oddly enough a weekend in Dublin with ye boys might do her good! |

Why are you so surprised? Really? A little bit of hypocrisy, perhaps?
This guy - real or not - has built an Internet persona for sheer entertainment. My goodness! Check out his one-million-and-six published interviews, for which he has adopted the persona of a very whiny, mushy Heathcliff...
Someone asked me why I wrote him in the vein of Catherine Linton... Well, because he begged for it!
Meanwhile I even got a MA in English Literature!!!
God bless 'Warrior', real or fictional, dead or alive.
The bed, the wine, the roses. |
