I was at four of the Maiden England gigs. If there had been Wi-Fi in the pit areas, the three amigos I was with wouldn't have seen the band at all.
I'm no fan of mobile phone overuse especially at gigs, but a Blackberry clocking Dickinson in the eye after that rant would have been good to see. |

The USA stadium crowd doesn't exactly go nuts. It can be very pedestrian. Suits me alright, but it might not be that inspiring for a band. |

Clearly ould Bruce thinks that everyone in the venue is there to see maiden and are all fans.
Some people are at the gigs because they got a free ticket, gone with some friends who said 'OMG MAIDEN LIKE AMAZEBALLS' and what not.
Tbh it's been blown out of proportion here, people are acting like the guy had his phone up in the bands face or something. He was fuckin textin tbh who gives a cunt.
If it was some acoustic show, low lights etc then OK I can see how it might be distracting but its a fuckin rock concert, hells bells loud and lights all over the shop and fuckin edd puppets.. well done Bruce with all that goin on you took the time to call a guy a wanker for texting during your set because he isn't worshipping you or thinks.. dis maiden.. not amazeballs at all!!!  |

It's amazing how much attention this non-event has attracted in the media. A guy up front wasn't interested in the gig, Bruce called the guy a wanker and it's almost global headline news. Is there that little going on? |

Bruce is the real reason you gotta switch off your phone on planes these days. He pilots EVERY flight to every destination , at the same time no less and simply wont stand for it interfering with his instruments. So he's simply enforcing the same rule when onstage.

Just watched the clip,not as bad as I thought it would be. I thought he had singled the guy out for a longer spell of abuse,like the guy he berated for having a spliff at a gig a while ago.

Can't see how the fan is at fault at all, really. Sure, he could have been updating his Facebook, while tagging himself and all his chums at the stadium - "OMG MAIDEN LULZ", or, it could have been something as vital as a possible family emergency or even organising a lift. In the end, Brucie just looks like a cunt over such a small issue.
