Probably going to fly Aer Lingus, they're cheapest at the minute. Do they allow guitars to be carried on? We need to bring at least one guitar, a six string bass, several pedals and a double kick. Never done this so any general advise would be appreciated.

You can bring a guitar on in a soft case as hand luggage, a hard case you'll have to check in but its always a gamble doing that, Ive heard some horror stories and once saw a baggage handler throw a guitar case on top of luggage truck, he overshot it and it went over the other side!

Soft case is always the best bet, at most they'll put it in a locker when you get on(they might do this if theres a bass as well) but Ive never had a problem bringing one on Aer Lingus.
