Archer is brilliant, so simple to get into and so fucking funny. Great characters too.

I've been watching a bit of Parks and Recreation. It's basically a version of The (yank) Office set in the parks department. 6 episodes into the first season and it's warming on me. I wouldn't call it essential viewing so far though.

Have you watched any of Archer, Wes? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archer_(TV_series)

Without ANY doubt the funniest thing I have seen in fucking ages. I got completely hooked on it after the first season.

Is 'Parks and Recreation' the one with Louie C.K. as a cop? If so, Ive seen a couple of episodes and its light and likable, in the same way I find 'Modern Family' quite enjoyable. I haven't seen Archer, I usually just dismiss animated stuff but I'll give it a go. Otherwise I'll just rewatch 'Black Books', again, until the new series of Peep Show airs...

I liked the first series of Parks and Rec, but haven't been able to find a decent torrent of the second season, and haven't really been compelled to look any harder. Like Barry said, its good - but I didn't "get it" in the way that my friends seem to have.

Again, new episode of Breaking Bad was brilliant I thought.

There's a torrent of it there, if you're into downloading at all. I hate streaming, quality is usually poor and it seems no matter how good your internet, it will stall. Also, I love having a complete series, that I can either rewatch, or just give them to someone else having harped on about how deadly something is. I've gotten two of my housemates into Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad that way, makes Monday a big deal in our house as its new TV show night.

Can't wait for this weeks BB, will have to watch it later tonight. Fantastic series.

Yeah man, I usually download but I'm on meteor mobile broadband with a 7.5 gig limit a month. I normally download mkv files because they're smaller but I couldn't find one this morning.
I bit the bullet and downloaded a normal quality one at the expense of my bandwith limit, but cheers for the link anyway!

Just finished Prison Break. Didn't watch it when it was on TV cos, well i thought it was a fuckin girly thing. Turns out it kinda is, but that aside it was actually a fuckin belter of a show. Great plot twists and the like and really good acting. Highly recommended

On the topic of Breaking Bad, I dunno if this was covered but it's apparently taking a mid-season break and won't be back to finish til the new year. Hence why i haven't watched any of this season yet

ok, As I mentioned earlier, I've just finished Prison Break and am looking to get stuck into something substantial that will keep me going for a coupla months on and off. I've fuckloads of stuff on my hard drive. Am in between minds: 24, Rome, Stargate, The Shield or maybe X-Files?

Any other recommendations. I've seen/up to speed with Dexter, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Game of Thrones.

A season behind a few other shows but i'll catch up with them quick enough i'd imagine.

P.S. Forgive my laziness for not going back through the 50 pages thus far

'Six Feet Under' and 'Sopranos' both essential viewing.

I watched Prison Break a few years back, and loved it though thought that the last two series suffered greatly in quality by comparison to the first two. Had nothing to watch at Christmas and stuck it on again, and had to stop half-way through the third series. The quality of the story in 1 and 2 carried the fact that the acting, for the most part, is absolutely horrific, and Michael Scofield is just an annoying twat. Also, in spire of Lincolns 'innocence', he still intended to kill Terrance Stedman, just that someone else had already done it. Pissed me right off! Few great characters in Mahone and T-Bag especially. Fun fact: I was in school with Dominic Purcell's brother.

Breaking Bad is just going from strength to strength. Of all of the Emphryio, I'd get on it now, as its still running, and the week and week tension, although frustrating, would be slightly wasted if you were in a position to watch it in a block (though how desperately I want the block!).
