Pity the mother died in real life they had some good storylines planned for her.

Love all the Sopranos series except for the final one, hands down worst scene in the history of the show though is the one with CGI Livia talking to Tony, terrible decision and terrible execution.
Favourite Paulie moment: "he jumped outta the tree, came at me with a chainsaw, I gotta right to defend myself!" |

Finished last night. I though series 1 and 2 were really good and it went a bit downhill from there. Still, I really enjoyed watching it all.
Feels good to get back into my vinyl after 5 weeks of Olympics and The Wire. |

Also finished it last night.
I don't know what I make of Omar's death... I was sure that he would have an expected stand-off with Marlo or Chris.
Season 4 was the best of the lot. I actually found myself devastated to see how some of the young characters turned out by the end of season 5.
This has been the only show where no character was unnecessary or pointless, and any character that was becoming deadwood was tastefully written out - Bodi for instance.
All of the hype I heard for years, I never actually thought it would live up to my expectations. But it is easily the best show i've ever seen, and I dont think it could be easily topped.
