I know, it's delicate.
But sans serif (arial, verdana) just doesnt cut it any more for reading text.
I want to make the reviews font bigger, and make it more like Times for ease of reading.
That should help mobile devices and full monitors alike.
Anyone have any objections? |

| If you're doing anything in the name of legibility how about dropping the light text on a dark background? |

| I've always been against a white colour scheme... even in text boxes.... that would be a pretty big jump I reckon. Though it is indeed for legibility I want to change/resize the font. |

It's easier on the eyes this way. |

Sorry, but WHAT?? Since when? Did you watch a 10 minute video about fonts on Vimeo or something?
If you really want to help mobile devices and full monitors, Google "responsive design". |

| I think the small verdana looks a bit pokey nowadays, just. |

| can we change the rating system to out of 10 instead of out of 5 as well while we're at it? |

Leave the font. Sans-serif on a dark background is the best way to have things. Maybe darken the text just a little be to reduce the glare of it a bit.
Personally I'd be more worried about trying to remedy the reoccurring "No Posts Exists for this Topic" problem that seems to rear its head on a regular basis. |

I prefer to see "No posts exist for this topic" in sans-serif myself. I wonder what 1349's favourite 10 fonts are |

I've no issues with the fonts as they are. It's generally smaller than what other forums have but it's not a bad thing. |

| Basically, no. I couldn't handle it. It'd be way too far out for me. |

| Much prefer sans serif myself. I'd just go for making the review font a point or two larger. |

Size 14 papyrus with comic sans for headers.
And animated gifs for the scores.
Seeing as all metal subgenres are going retro I think the site should embrace that and strive to emulate 1996 geocities. |
