Sons of Anarchy is terrible but then again if you like Desperate Housewives you will probably enjoy it Surprised

I have it on DVD I don't bother downloading films or tv shows unless they are the full DVDs with menus.

Sons Of Anarchy isn't really that bad.
Season 1 wasn't great, but it certainly got better from season 2 onwards.

Breaking Bad is back soon! Thank fuck.
Can't wait!

Really looking forward to the start of The Newsroom this week. I like a lot of Sorkin's stuff but I never really got into The West Wing but I'm really intrigued by this new series. Anyone else?

Been watching a boxset of amrican gothic this week.....how the fuck it was ever broadcast pre watershed in the 90s I'll never know. Fucked, but cool too. Kinda like the mid 90s version of twin peaks....

The Walking Dead is boring as shite, even the odd zombie attack doesn't excite things. Wish the cast would all die horrible deaths.

ive watched the first 3 episodes of this now. I cant really decide if i like it or not. Jeff Daniels is undeniably brilliant though but i find the rest of the cast leaving me a bit cold, particularly the blonde intern one, terrible acting. Jeff Daniels drunken boss is really the only character besides Daniels' that i think is good.

I do however, think its very well written but i just dont know if it will have any staying power with me. Ill persevere through to the end of the season anyway and make a call then.

Shows i have been watching recently

The Newsroom. Not a bad start. It's getting bad reviews in the states for being too preachy. That's the very thing i liked about it.
Veep - ok, but it needs a Malcom Tucker and quick.
Deadliest Catch - never gets old.
Next Great Artist - This finished on Sky Arts last week and its the best show in ages. Reailty show with 12 artists starting off and one leaving each week. It actually had really good artists in it. Check it out.
Alan Partridge - some funny parts but its past is.
The Killing - Holder is a great character, good show.

Found seasons 3 and 4 of Breaking Bad to be way too lazy and drawn out, just get frustrated by scenes and entire episodes where nothing happens in a totally gratuitous, story padding kinda way.

Think I'll go back and rewatch 6 Feet Under and The Wire to remind me of how it is when tv is actually firing on all cylinders.

can't wait for the restart of BB, though season 4 was probably the one I've enjoyed least so far. Some of the cartel scenes were great but on the whole it just seemed like certain parts of the story had stalled.

Recently gave Boardwalk Empire another chance - very impressed. Not sure why I didn't have the patience for it first time round.

Anyone watch Summer Heights High? Only started getting into it recently and it's fucking deadly.

It's a mockumentary on the lives of 2 high school kids in Australia and the life of one of the teachers there.

This is one of lads, Jonah - a Tongan attending the high school: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cws1cX9rWlM

Absolute legend.
