| Prequels rarely are a good idea. Has Moore released a comment about it? |

The Watchmen prequel can go fuck itself. You'd be better off spending the money on the cheapest hooker you can find and getting an STI out of the deal.
Reading a lot of Lobo and The Tick. Still have to get around to catching up with The Walking Dead. Kind of stopped caring about it around the time the TV series came about and people started to annoy me with "HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS ZOMBIE TV PROGRAMME IT'S GOOD YOU'LL LIKE IT." |

Apparently, he feels the whole affair is completely shameless. I'm inclined to agree TBH, the comic's quality reek of cash-in. I have no qualms in getting this series by other means.

Have been enjoying The Walking Dead so far... the comic series that is. Still haven't watched the TV show. Haven't heard much good about it, the first half of the first season is apparently good is what I've heard.
However... I have bought the Walking Dead adventure game on Steam - so far, very good, trouble is they're releasing it episodically... and the 2nd Ep is still overdue. Hope the game doesn't tank, that first Ep was very promising. |

Just finished Maus. Read half of it ages ago but got side track & never finished it. Started from the start again a few days ago & couldn't put it down.
I just read through Arlham Asylum in one sitting, & not sure I enjoyed it that much. Artwork was great. I found the Armadeus Arkham background to be more interesting. The batman stuff just seemed a bit random, plus Some characters I wasn't familiar with so I was confused, which is no fault to the comic. I thought the Joker was great, but fuck me was his txt a nightmare to read. |

On further 'reading' of the Before Watchmen series, the best ones seem to be at the moment Ozymandias and The Comedian. The other ones that are out are pretty bad - especially Silk Spectre, which has art like an Archie romance comic and some shonky backstory to Silk Spectre II. They're going to have to do something really good to pull this out of mediocrity... then again, there's Dr Manhattan and Rorschach to come.
Have been reading DMZ... very good stuff. Premise of a 2000's era civil war in America covered by a lone press reporter in the DMZ of ruined Manhattan, NYC. |

Quite simply amazing...life changing series.
The Walking Dead TV series also is awesome, second one very slow but is worth it for the ending.
Anyone read Batman Year One?? I thought it was the coolest feken thing I've ever read... |

Total comic binge lately.
I can't reccomend Shaky Kane's "Bulletproof Coffin" collection / "Bulletproof Coffin Disinterred" series enough. Fucking genius. |

Wood is great. He recently left Vertigo and is now doing stuff for Dark Horse and Marvel. You should check out The Massive. Issue 2 came out this month. |

| Love Northlanders. The modern parlance took a bit of getting used to, but it strangely makes it seem more realistic than "Verily, have at thee" etc. |
