Looking forward to both games tomorrow.
I reckon the Waterford v Cork match could go either way, fascinating match up. Cork are beginning to ressurect and will be in the top 3 within a year or two. Waterford have a pyschological edge after the last few encounters, and will want to prove themselves after being a little underwhelming in the Munster final.
Kilkenny should beat Limerick but the fear factor has evaporated a bit and Joyce in for Brian Hogan is a worry. I see Nicky English is delighting in Kilkenny's 'decline' again in The Irish Times, I hope the boyz can shove his biased articles up his hole tomorrow evening. The midfield pairing is a lot stronger than that which took the field against Galway, so I'm confident enough. Winner plays Tipp in the semi, so that along with the desire to make amends for the humiliation against Galwasy should provide motivation at the very least. |

| I've been saying all week that I fancy Limerick. I know it's Kilkenny and they'll be out for blood, bla bla bla. But Limerick are on the rise. 33/1 to win Liam too... surely worth a fiver. |

It's certainly not a forgone conclusion, but I think KK will win by 5 points or so. 33/1 is a good price, but for them to beat Kilkenny, Tipp and Galway/Waterford in succession is difficult to envisage.
On the other hand, for the sake of the sport, someone other than KK/Tipp winnig might be a good thing. I think Galway will be in the final, but whether they have the bottle to finally deliver on two decades of 'potential' remains to be seen.
I wouldn't begrudge Waterford either. The one final they did make they surrendered after a quarter of an hour, the occasion was too much. Even so, they have added so much to the championship over the last 10 years, and I'd have no hard feelings if the cunts got Liam this year. |

Cork were lucky Waterford had no bench as they were bossed that second half. Still great character and good intensity the last ten minutes to get by waterford. Thought Limerick were looking good until their defence decided to dissapear completely |

| I shat myself when Kerry got their goal near the end but we held out. Fan-fuckin-tastic match. Making sure I'm free for the semi final against Cork. I'm going to the match with 2 Cork heads too. Fisty cuffs. |

| Kerry had their chance to equalise but then Lacey went up and scored, made it look easy with the pressure on. Donegal v Cork will be very interesting as will Dubs v Mayo. Moran out for rest of the season. |

Couldn't believe how much Cork destroyed Kildare although I shouldn't have been that surprised since John Doyle and Early were their talismen today.
I was nervous enough about the Kerry game today but Cork will be a tough challenge. Again though I think we can pull through. |

Moran is a big loss to Mayo. Will be a very tight game against the Dubs if they improve on their shaky display against Laois.
I reckon Mayo could go on to the final to blow it against Cork.... |

Only saw the highlights of the Mayo v Down game but the Down defence were an absolute disgrace. Well done Aidan O'Rourke, you will always be an Armagh legend haha. Hard to judge Mayo's performance but Moran is a huge loss.
The Dubs won't be winning Sam this year, they are nowhere near the level of last year and i can't see them getting back up to speed. Laois put up a good fight, McNulty had them well organised..
Was expecting a great game between Cork and Kildare and the 1st half was class stuff. Was surprised at the ease with which Cork won today. My pre season tenner on them to win Sam is ticking along nicely.
Donegal v Kerry, the game i, and many others were looking forward to most. I was roaring on my fellow Ulstermen and having a few quid on them only added to the drama. Thoroughly enjoyed the match and the result. Kerry choke again against the Ulster team!
I can see Mayo beating the Dubs, even without Moran but i just can't call the other game. I'm already looking forward to 2 absorbing semi finals. |

Kerry v Donegal was great. The Ulstermen all seem to be over 6'2, but for a pack of bruisers they played some great stuff yesterday. Classic finish after Donaghys goal, I'd say Mr Mullan wasn't the only one to shite himself after the gap was brought back to a point.
Sorry to see Kerry go out, I have a soft spot for them as the auld boy is from there, but sure all the best to Donegal from here on in. They have a great chance to bridge a 20 year gap. I remember the auld fella left me in the car on All Ireland day listening to Dublin v Donegal in 92 when he went off to do a 'bit of business'. I was 8! A rematch this year would be quite something. |
