Tomorrow should be a good game, with Mayo coming out on top, hopefully. It was a very close affair a few weeks ago. Sam?...not a hope... but then again.... |

Longford are division 3 champs Cork win the division 1 in Football and Are also in the Hurling Final. Both teams I supports are doing well so all is looking good for the summer.
On the subject of Hurling - I really don't think I have ever seen as naturally talented a palyer as Conor Lehane for cork. Definately going to be regarded as one of the best players in the coutnry by the end of the season. The job he did on JJ against Kilkenny and then the next marker was something else |

G’wan the Larry’s.
Wickla’ picked up the Div 4 trophy.
Cork hurlers will be interesting this year (who for the first time in ages will have someone else in goals) and so too Clare under Davey Fitz. |

| Yeah a lot of people think Donal Óg had become a liability with his puckouts and his diminishing shot stopping ability in the last few years as well. Corks team all of a sudden is very young, hungry, fast and for once quite physically strong too |

I know that, but a lot of people where calling for Nash or Coleman to be given a stint in goals during the league as Donalóg performances were waning anyway before the horrible injury he received |

A few surprises today
Sligo 2-14 Galway 0-15
Clare 1-13 Limerick 0-15
Was about to put £10 on Galway winning by 5+.
Wishful thinking but I'd love to see Clare win Munster. Hopefully Cork and Kerry tear each other to shreds tomorrow.
Hopefully Longford can extend their run tomorrow too but Wexford are still a strong side despite losing Matty Forde.
As for Meath. Won't be looking beyond the next game. If we get past Carlow we might give Kildare a game but we're miles off. |

Roll on 4pm tomorrow, i can't settle, Armagh v tyrone isn't just a game of football, this is war............
Well done to the Armagh hurlers today, another national title. Not bad for a county with only a few hurling clubs in it. |

| Cracking game between Waterford and Clare there, serious squeeky bum time at the end. Surely Tipp will clean up again though. |

| Good result for Galway, I'm not sure if they'll have enough for our boys in black and amber, Offaly were poor enough, but I always have a fear of the tribesmen. Unpredictable and always produce solid, quality players. |

| Galway hurlers have a very leaky full back line which Kilkenny I'm sure will take full advantage of. They seem to have decent enough firepower in the forwards but Offaly gave them more room today than they'll have against a better side. Wouldn't expect Galway to beat one of the top 3 teams. |

| Tannion is midfield was a wierd one today but he did alright. Canning is some man from the dead ball, arguably as good as Shefflin in that regard. Lacks pace and a champagne half back line but a beast nonetheless. If KK beat the Dubs, should be a good final. |

| I think Dublin will give Kilkenny a good run for their money. Don't mind their league form. |

| I hope so. I'm heading down to portlaoise on Saturday. After the euros I'd like to see a competitive game. I do think Dublin underachieved in the league but I think Kilkenny will be ready. Hopefully it will be close/competitive. |

| Thank god Waterford won today,Clare could have easily won that one by a point or two!Bad taste by Mullane celebrating "in your face style" to Davey Fiztgerald after the game, unfair and disrespectful to someone who did alot for us under his years managing Waterford.Tipp and Cork will be interesting next week,Cork could surprise but Tipp should come out on top. |
