| Was worried we'd get Wexford but should be no bother to us beating another rabble of gym monkeys. |

KILDARE COMPLETELY UNDERESTIMATED MEATH. STARTING TO BELIEVE THE HYPE. COMPLETELY SICKENED WITH THAT PERFORMANCE. REFEREE DIDN'T HELP MATTERS EITHER, WHERE THE FUCK DO THEY GET THEM?
MEATH DESERVED THEIR VICTORY, AND WE ARE BACK TO THE MUCH MORE FAMILIAR SATURDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.
I'M ALSO SICKENED THAT KILDARE HAVE GOT INVOLVED IN THIS FIASCO WITH SEANIE JOHNSON. LEAVE HIM WHERE HE IS. I ALSO WOULDN'T GIVE MUCH CREEDANCE TO WHAT BROLLY OR WHELAN HAVE TO SAY ON THE MATTER. BROLLY IS A SPA, AND WHELAN WAS ONLY AVERAGE AT BEST. SHOWN UP WHEN IT CAME TO THE CRUNCH EVERY TIME, SO HIS OPINION MEANS NOTHING.
A STUPID SITUATION MADE WORSE BY THE GAA. HE HAD TO BEND THE RULES TO BECOME ELIGABLE, DON'T PUT HIM IN THAT POSITION. PURE SKULLDUGGERY BY KILDARE, BUT PURE PIGHEADEDNESS BY THE GAA. CANCELLED ONE ANOTHER OUT. |

Referee made some odd decisions, like the throw-in which lead to Meaths goal. And yet there were times when he got the hardest of calls right and I was left thinking it was just a fluke.
As for Seanie Johnston, I really hadn't paid much attention to it. If a lad wants to go to the trouble of playing for a different county, then why stop him. I think Kildare only made it worse by having him on the panel and in the subs bench. He should have done the transfer on his own steam and only then should he make an appearance on the Kildare panel.
Such a coincidence that Kildare got Cavan in the qualifier draw. Of perhaps not. I’m convinced its rigged. |

| Hopefully yesterday will give Kildare a kick in the arse. Meath were well up for it - the draw against Carlow seems to have been their kick in the arse. The Leinster final could be a classic. |

Up the Royal!!!!
Just like the god ol days of Meath football, defending in packs and showing fight for the jersey, something which has been absent for a number of years. Some of the younger lads played great yesterday, Donnacha Tobin in particular was outstanding. Reminds me of '96, youthful team and written off. That will earn Banty a reprive anyway! I presume Conor Gillespie got Man of the match? Didnt see the sunday game last night. |

A bitter sweet weekend for Armagh, knocked out by the might of Roscommon after being 5 up at half time. On the bright side, agent o'rourke is out on his hole.
Kildare were shocking, i blame the manager. Geezer out now !! |

HE LOOKED BEREFT OF IDEAS.
TALKING TO TWO COUNTY PLAYERS TODAY, THEY HAD TWO HARD TRAINING SESSIONS SATURDAY. IN THE 60TH MINUTE THEY LOOKED DEAD, I CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE THINKING BEHIND THAT.
WE WANT OUR MAN THAT'S PROVING HIS MANAGEMENT QUALITY WITH LONGFORD ANYWAY. |
