| NZ fielding a strong side, I can't see this game being too enjoyable to watch, would also love to see Reddan get the knod ahead of Murray. |

I think Reddan would be a liability if New Zealand start how I think they will, Murray is a better defender to help weather the early storm |

| I just think Murray's a very slow player, he gives the opposition defence a lot of time to re-group, but I do agree he's a better defender, but Reddan is the better attacker. |

| I think we could really use Reddan's speed and greater experience. He's a greater all round player than Murray and has a fantastic understanding with Sexton (and Heaslip). McCaw will be licking his lips seeing Murray's name on the team sheet. |

| Reddans is great when you are the team on top, he panics under pressure IMO though. Surprised Gilroy isn't in the squad though |

Some of that was hard to watch today.
Mcfadden's defence was shaky, albeit against a juggernaut of a man.
Seeing O'Driscoll and O'Brien missing tackles was unusual but the sheer speed and power of the all blacks was a sight to behold.
Thought Earls did well at 12, surprisingly, New tighthead can hold up a scrum, O Brien did well poaching ball at the breakdown and just being a nuisance. I do prefer him as a battering ram though, especially when someone like O'Mahony could play 7 leaving him to maim people at 6.
Heaslip, Murray and Loughney had pretty forgettable days. Murray's box kixking was pretty shocking at times.
Incredible that Healy got away with giving McCaw a serious clatter to the chops on the ground. fair play to him - he was the gnarly enforcer today with Ferris absent. He nearly killed that animal SBW with that dump tackle too. hope to fuck he's ok for the next game!
Glad that Kidney took some risks today (mostly because he had to) but Trimble should have been on that field, the backrow was odd and enough has been said about Sexton and Reddan starting for him to finally give it a proper go. |

To deflect from the brutal horrors of touring New Zealand the draw for the coming seasons Heineken Cup is on TG4 today at 11.15 followed by the under 20s hopefully ripping Italy a new arsehole to accompany the ones the English and South Africans have recently provided them with, kick off at 1.45.........

very happy with that draw for Ulster...Northampton and Glasgow both good teams, and Castres an opportunity to break the duck in France. Plus we'll get to see Wannenburg back at Ravenhill very soon!
Munster's group could be very interesting, and I'm expecting last year's experience to stand Connacht in good stead. The Leinster - Clermont games could be crackers depending on the dates. |

Well that's a kick in the bollox from Nigel Owens. That penalty he gave in the scrum towards the end was a joke.
If only Ireland could play like that always. |

| Cracking match, I agree about the decision at the end, have to take my hat off to Mike Ross, he had a great game, the AB's looked suprised at time's at just how good the Irish are, next week should be another cracker. |

It's just a pity the series is already lost.
Obviously a win next week would be amazing. If Ireland bring that same focus and intensity, there's no reason why it can't happen.
Mike Ross proved again that he's invaluable. Great performances from everyone.
Hopefully there'll be no fresh injuries. D'Arcy looked uncomfortable going off. |

| Great match. Nearly turned religious there towards the end in the hope that we could hold on. Maybe the whole Christchurch occasion got to the All Blacks, but Ireland just seemed much more switched on and focused than they have for a long, long time. Hard to tell how that will effect them for next week though ... well it give them confidence or just leave them shattered and questioning what they have to do to beat the Kiwis. McCaw, Ali Williams and a few others looked rattled throughout lots of that second half. |

| I think McCaw will finish up soon enough, a lot of sore bodies tomorrow, which is good, because the AB's now relize the Irish are a real test, 10 Leinster player's in the starting 15 proved well, but still hoping Kidney will choose Reddan over Murray. |
