F1 was interesting for the first 2 races but has become typical boring and predictable since. Hopefully BMW can get close to the top 2 again but its unlikely now that in particular Ferrari are on song. I fancy Massa to win the World Championship unless theirs team orders. Unless Hamilton wins the next 2 on arguably the only tracks that favour McLaren this year it'll be a Ferrari 1-2. How himself and Alonso let Raikonen in last year was ridiculous, they need to hire some spies again.

Moto GP is where its at this year, Rossi is back, Lorenzo is going great (especially for a man with 2 broken ankles), Pedrosa's Honda seems to be the best bike and no doubt Stoner and Ducatti will bounce back , thats 4 riders from 3 teams and it'll probably go to the wire.

F1 and NASCAR fan here. I have no problems with Ferrari domination. I don't mind Hamilton, but James Allen's brown nosing makes Murray Walker look like an enemy of Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill. Calling his drive "Senna-esque"? I sincerely hope the BBC will not be hiring him next year. In Sprint Cup, Tony Stewart is the man.

The itv coverage of the F1 annoys me they are just wishing the ferraris would hit a wall so hamilton will win Rolling Eyes

Been watching motogp now for over 10 years some of the best racing you'll ever see.Good to see Rossi is back wasn't to sure about the switch to bridgestone tyres but it finally seems to be working for him.The rivalary between Lorenzo & Pedrosa is brillant to watch Laughing reminds me of Rossi & Biaggi in the 90's .Theres going to be a few bust ups between those 2 by the end of the season.

Of course theres the Irish connection Eugene Laverty races a 250 for LCR Honda team.

Wonder how Jenson Button feels? Before Hamilton came along it was all Jenson, Jenson, Jenson - remember Allen's ranting when he won his first race? Now, he's been dumped. Laughing

Im a huge F1 fan, been watching it since 1989. To be honest Ive always hated Ferrari passionately, although I did always want to see Mansell and Irvine do well with them. Im also not a fan of McLaren either, as Ive always been a Williams fan since I started watching F1.

Id have to agree with the James Allen comments. As a commentator he is horrible - however in the pit lane when ITV 1st got the contract I found him quite good as he was excellent at picking up team strategies. I think Murray Walker worked so well as he genuinely didnt have a clue about strategy, or the science and mechanics of F1, he was purely just a fan of racing, and then he had a co-commentator with the technical expertise to back him up, fill in the gaps, and more times than enough, correct his errors.

Im looking forward to the return to BBC, no adverts, and hopefully a return of Fleetwood Mac for the theme tune Very Happy Hopefully they can expand on ITV's pre race build ups, though if I see another show focused on Hamilton my head will explode.

Im also a big Nascar fan, Ive been watching it for the past 5 years or so along with Indycars. Its been great to see Kyle Busch doing so well this season, I think people are being a bit harsh on him over the accident with Dale Earnhart Jr, just because of Earnharts status in Nascar - had it of been a mid to rear field accident nothing would have been said

I'm not impressed with Sky's coverage of Nascar. Keith Huewen seems to say every five minutes "I haven't got a clue about this sport, I'm trying to learn it", the amount of ad breaks, talking while Fox have gone back to the race, and lack of pre-race coverage. Missing 40 minutes of the start of a race because there's badminton is just insane. Guess I was spoilt by NASN's coverage the past few years. Laughing

The thing with Busch, it's not the first time he's hit someone, and the fact Junior would have gone on to win his first race in a couple of years didn't help. Still, Shrub's a hell of a talent, far better than his brother.

I heard a rumor BBC will have the rights to moto gp in 2009.I fuckin hope they don't because the eurosport coverage is second to none & the 2 boyos Toby & Julian are legendary commentators. Some of the one liners they come out with during a race is priceless.

Lemans this weekend should be a good one hopefully Rossi will do well again Very Happy

Is it the 2 clowns that used to comentate on RTE a few years back the ginger head bloke what was his name used to annoy the shit out of me.

RTE do show the odd moto gp race Peter Colllins hasn't a fucking clue what does be going off.

Any of you watch A1 GP??? It should be much better next season Ferrari will be supplying all the engines & chassis nice to see an Irish team in it.

David Kennedy? RTE should have marketed him as a cure for insomnia. At least they finally stopped going on how he was a F1 ace when his career consisted of qualifying for a single non-championship race.

A1? It was fun in the early days when you had a bunch of really bad drivers crashing into each other, and Jos Verstappen. These days it's like a less interesting F1.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Danica Patrick yet.

RIP Robert Dunlop
