So Tosin is getting a signature Ibanez 8 string and new Dimarzio pickups.

Pretty excited for this, although knowing Ibanez it'll be about 20 grand. The one in the video is just a prototype so I doubt the actual released model will look exactly like it.

And the pickups sound great in that video!

Pickups are a bit too clangy for me, nice clarity an' all but not enough depth with the distortion. Taps sound good though.
Preferred his EMG's, or whatevs he used on the T.R.A.M. album.
Very very tasty choice of woods for the sig!

I like it! Seen him with this yoke for a while. hes also got a semi hollow version which although not my thing is tidy as fuck. The other guitarist, javier reyes got a well sexy custom 8,look it up!

Yeah Javier's customs are pretty tasty alright!

Tosin himself has 3 Ibanez customs, two LACS and this one which is Japanese I believe. The semi-hollow one is gorgeous and the other LACS is a white one with a tortoise shell pickgaurd.

It's a bit ungainly looking though, innit.

Its a stunning instrument. I guess it could look ungainly purely from the point that its an 8 String but I think everything works on the guitar.
