It's apparently not visually that graphic but anything involving the sexual abuse of kids in any capacity I've got no interest in seeing.

I skipped to the last 22 minutes (the controversial scenes).

It was "meh". The only thing that made an impact on me was the shit acting which in turn made the whole thing unconvincing.

Read some reviews which mentioned the last 20 minutes have great acting. The reviewers must watch some real tripe to think that was good acting.

It's sick in a sense of being based on several true stories and showing more of the graphic details of what happens to a lot of these kids who go online to chat rooms and then meet up with stalkers in real life and what becomes of them.

You'll probably get bored well before the end though.

My interest stems from hearing that it is the film that will finally make the young, experimenting and impressionable definitely think twice about frequenting chatrooms and deciding to meet up with those they meet online.

It possibly could if the first hour of it wasn't terribly boring. This is the kind of movie that if it was on TV say, people might try to watch, but would end up turning off long before any type of message or shock value gets across.

Grand so, I'll make my daughter watch it once she's old enough to operate a webcam then.

I've only now watched the available trailers. This'll probably get a miss... It looks quite insufferable. The scenes shown from the closing 20-30 mins are akin to The Blair Witch, strangely.

In relation to the Dnepropretrovsk Maniacs, I see there has been a copycat case in Russia, a teenage boy and girl attacked and killed 6 people or so, video footage of at least one incident doing the rounds.

I don't think posting the link here is cool, head to the Wiki page for the maniacs and you'll find the details of it there, google the names then.
