Geoffrey Lannister was out in the button factory last night, After a bit of abuse "MAN, WHAT THE FUCK, WHY'D YOU KILL NED?!" I realised he didn't actually kill ned and got to talking to him Laughing He's in Trinity, I had no idea he was Irish til I asked him where in England he was from and he goes "Eh, Ranalagh?"

A guy I know is in some of his classes in Trinity. As he's into the books, it's the oddest experience sitting next to someone who plays a major character in the TV series.

Episode one was good but not great. It seemed to be more of a "refresher" episode like someone rightly pointed out on Facebook.

If I watch the second episode this evening it means I'll have to wait a fortnight for another new one Mad

My logic exactly! Couldn't do that to myself, week to week waiting is hard enough, never mind two.

Finally got time to sit down to the first two episodes back to back last night. More excellent casting of the new characters, particularly Balon and Davos. I recognised some of the Antrim coastline more than once, and the odd beardy extra. I do think HBO are doing great work with adapting the books for a TV format, the odd deviation from the text is justifiable, and I hope it gets the audience and backing to go the distance of another few seasons. Must go and actually buy S1 on disc now, as it will be a long two weeks wait for the next fix.

OUR ORDER DOES NOT DEAL IN PIGSHIT.

Fair cracked up at that. Was majorly disappointed that The Tickler's death was not as in the books (spoiler, quote to see).

Tyrion was always my favourite character in the books, and Dinklage is utterly stealing the show as him.

Dinklage is great alright but it's gotta be Charles Dance for me. Phenomenal casting.

Must say I'm enjoying your man playing Stannis, Hated Stannis in the books, but I'm warming to him on screen (Maybe thats not a good thing though...)
