| That a song of Fire and Ice you are on about? Shur all those havent been written/published yet so Im wondering how they can be doing a series on them. Great books, read all those that have been published but still waiting 5 years for the next installment...better not be another 5 years between the other volumes.. |

Yup that is the one. He's writing the final 2 at the same time. I am still waiting for em too. Their doing the seasons one book at a time. So I am going to assume this gives George Martin 5 years to finish the series? Because he said it has only two more books to be completed |

| yes youre right. a dance with dragons, then the winds of winter and a dream of spring. this series has the potential to be so epic. I can't wait to see a Direwolf in battle... or THE WALL |

| It has great potential alrite but it all depends on how they make it. 9 times out of 10 they do not do the books justice. Some times things are better left as books. The Lord of the Rings was a good series of films but I still prefer the books 100 times better. |

Sure the Dance with Dragons was originally due for a February '09 realise.
There's a few chapters up on the official site for any that just cant wait.

Bet he'll do a Robert Jordan on it and die before he finishes the series. |

Yeah, hope he doesn't turn his toes up before finishing the books. Absolutely amazing series, he has a brilliant way of really bringing the characters to life. I presume/hope he's probably holding off releasing the next book until the series starts and there's a bit of interest in it. At least the tv series will hopefully give him an incentive to get his arse in gear. Don't fancy waiting another 5 years.
I'll be very disappointed if the lesbo scene with Cersei and Lady Merryweather isn't included when they get to filming a feast for crows. I've already got the sock I'm gonna use picked out. |

| You can just all read the Malazan series instead if he starts pushing daisies. |
