| Excellent work John - you're putting in a lot of effort for the scene. |

Also! If anyone could recommend other forums for other areas around the country(Waterford, Belfast, etc.) that I could post updates on, please let me know.
The latest additions to the blog are ;
THIS WEARY HOUR / PEOPLE OF THE MONOLITH
CELTACHOR
DRIVESHAFT
McGALLIGOG
MORDANT SOUL
BRAINS
THE ODDYSSEY
LANGUISHED
Plenty more to be added yet. I'll have a couple more updates before the weekend.

Thank you for this blog! I love hunting down obscure bands and Ireland is full of them. Very few people know of your scene outside of Ireland or maybe the UK.
Will you be posting any old Irish Heavy Metal? |

Thanks! Boss...
There's a few bits of older Irish metal up on the blog already! And some more on the way. I just need to flesh things out a bit more before posting them. Use the archive section to the right-hand side. Open up each month and you'll find links to all the bands currently posted. |

| Wow thanks mate! The Lamentations stuff is very good! It appears there was a lot of good Irish death and black metal back in the middle 1990's but none released more than a demo or two!? |

Thanks for uploading and sharing those releases.
I can't remember exactly but wasn't there a suggestion about including scans of old Irish zines as well? That might be good for "educational" purposes, you know... |

Yeah! That's the plan. I've got a couple of zines and distro sheets already, but they'll look farily scanty on a page all their own. It's very much a work in progress. And what time I have to give to the blog is choca-block at the moment. I've got about 15-20 band pages almost ready to go.
Although! Another option I was toying with was to just include a link to zines and stuff on individual bands pages if they're featured in them.
But there's no reason I can't do that and have a dedicated zines page too.
Thanks for the comments and feedback, lads!
Much appreciated. |

It's almost the Bank Holiday Weekend, and the 'SIEGE OF LIMERICK' is taking place this sunday in The Stagles bar on the UL Campus.
In honour of the event I've thrown up a page with download links to a LIMROCK/BAD REP compilation CD put together for one of the previous SOL's.
METAL AFTER MASS Vol.2 Comp.CD
I'm also on the facebooky thing that everyone is talking about.
It's the best place, apart from the blog itself, to keep up to date with new band posts.
