LATEST UPDATES ON PAGE 10
**** IMA COMPILATION ALBUM ****
Right!
So we need to get this comp album thingy rolling.
I know that some folks have been in touch already, but there's no harm in replying to this post again with a link to your band.
So this is a final call to any bands interested in contributing a track.
It's mainly Death / Thrash style bands that are taking part at the moment, but we'd be open to some other styles also.
As it's through the Irish Metal Archive we'd also be up for including any demos, rehearsals or live recordings too.
As long as the sound quality is pretty good.
So! Please get in touch...
Bands that have already been in touch include...
THREE HOUR CEASEFIRE
FOR RUIN
EDENFIRE
COLDWAR
PUTREFY
AFTERLIFE
SKEWERED
ATOMINATED
OGRE
DECRYPTOR
EXZELTIC
WARCRUX
ZERO TOLERANCE
AWAKEN DOMINION
.........................................................................
PREVIOUS UPDATES...
Hey! Peeps…
Just giving a heads-up about the new Irish Metal Blogsite I’ve started.
http://irish-metal.blogspot.com
The aim is to showcase demos and releases from “Ireland’s Underground Metal Scene” over the last few decades. I’m trying dig up as many older releases as possible. So if anyone out there has some old stuff gathering dust in the attic, under the stairs, under beds, back of closets, etc... please dig 'em out and drop me line.
Email - irishmetalarchives@yahoo.ie
Also! Any recommendations would be great too.
Bands that you you would like to see up on the blog.
There are a few posts up already for MINDS EYE, OGRE, KILLER WATT, PANIC... And there are a few more lined up. I just need to iron out a few bits first.
Check it out!
You might find it intersting!
Or you may just get a laugh off it!
....................................................................
The idea started on the CURSED EARTH thread before Xmas. And spawned another thread soon after. See links below!!! I started a new thread so that I can make updates and post them here from time to time.

Excellent stuff... fair play!
I'm planning on getting something that lets me convert tapes soon so I should be able to help you with some stuff then. |

Cheers! Lads...
@ Fart
That would be brilliant!
The more stuff up there, the better!
@ Bane
Good man!
Any idea if the KW version of 'Pretty Vacant' on the 'Solid Citizens' sampler is the one from the Mega Mix clip? Or a studio recording? More than likely, it's the Mega Mix version! |

| Don't hold your breath waiting for stuff from me... once I figure out to convert I'll get working on it but that could be a bit down the line. |

You are on my list too, 'Tron...
CAPTAIN INSANO stuff would be nice.
Also! Harass the shite out the [R]OAS lads for stuff too.
Surely they've all been knocking about in a few bands over the years.
HALFMAST comes to mind. Could be wrong though.
Is there a link between the two? |

Yeah, i have the tape somewhere, will have to have a look tho, from what i remember it was a pretty slick looking demo, good artwork and a white tape with printed sides.
My older brother took the photo for Stonesnipe for the green metal album, i'm nearly sure. |

| Did Kemikill from Cork ever record anything officially? I never heard anything by em but I believe they were signed to Metal Core from London (who released the first Tiamat album and 'Rat Race' by Vulcano) but the label soon went bust and nothing came of. The of course every cunting Metal head found their way to Sir Henry's and the poxy rave scene so that was that. |
