Obviously it's all a matter of opinion. I've never seen a better sitcom. Love Curb and while the cringe factor is amazing, for me AD is far superior purely for the fact that no matter how may times I watch it, I always see some hidden joke or reference that I missed the previous times. I also think it's just funnier.
The multi-layered aspect of if it, the repetition of jokes, be it the next scene or the next season, the set-up of a joke you expect and then they go the opposite way, etc: genius.
And come on, who doesn't want to live in "Fuck City"
If Lost was a sitcom, it would be AD
and Lost was great
and while we're on the subject of great comedies, how good is Modern Family?? |
