Twas embarrassing alright, Young was offside and he dived, simple as. But, in fairness, it's not as though any other team, Liverpool included, are blameless in such matters.

True, sure every club has gotten these decisions at some stage.

AH YEAH, ITS A LONG HELD OPINION THAT FERGIE HAS SOME SORT OF HOLD OVER THE REFEREES. IT DOES REALLY SEEM THAT OPPOSING TEAMS GET ROBBED OF ANY DECISION IN OLD TRAFFORD AND UNITED GET THE DODGIEST.
HAVING SAID THAT, THEY HAVE BEEN IMPERIOUS AND FRANKLY SUPERB IN THE BUSINESS END OF THE SEASON.
NOW, APRIL 30TH WILL BE A DEAD RUBBER. WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT GAME, BUT CITY'S CHALLENGE HAS DIED WITH A WHIMPER.

now now Paul... United didnt get a wealthy invester like the Chelsea's and City's. Fergie built the club up, just like Arsenal and Liverpool.

As a United fan, Id rather Liverpool win the league over City/Chelsea, cause these billionaire play things are a disgrace!

G'wan the Newcastle is right,Cisse with 9 in 8 games!More of that please.Heres hoping for a Spurs and Arsenal loss this weekend so they can slither up abit more, although I can't see Sunderland beating Spurs but stranger things have happened this season!

In fact I'll be betting on a Sunderland win, O'Neill being the better manager IMO, and Spurs away form ain't the best. On the other hand, I can't see Man C beating Arsenal...we'll see.
Amazing season for Newcastle, that goes without saying.

You must be a tad pissed off with O Neill's containing tactics. Getting a bet up is hard enough without your team not even trying to win it.

Yeah, that game was real bad, didn't enjoy it in the slightest.
As for the betting - I changed my mind on Saturday's morning and put down the money on two ice hockey games (NJ and Penguins wins) and Wolves to lose at Britannia. Not a bad decision, as it turned out Cool
Only caught the highlights of United's game, that offside/penalty/sending off was a joke.

I THINK TO OWN ANY FOOTBALL CLUB IN ANY DIVISION YOU'D HAVE TO BE WEALTHY. WHERE ARE YOU COMING FROM?

One of the Manchester teams spent over £350million on players in the past four years. I'll give you a hint who: it wasn't Wigan.

To own a football club ye need money obviously, but City/Chelsea, got taken over by billionaires who went straight out buying Europes top players and giving them ridiculas wages so they could basically buy instant success.

Which is a disgrace and if I we're a fan of either club I would be against it.

And it's because of this new zero tolerance for failure in football, that managers are getting a month, before things are turned on them. Hodgson at Liverpool was a joke, Kenny now is feeling the pressure, which is a joke, Wenger at the start of the season was been called for a sacking, joke, Mancini will be sacked, joke, AVB, joke...

and even on a local level, I heard fans on Friday night calling for Stephen Kenny to be sacked, a month into the job cause of his first loss...

Fickle fans, media and "modern" football has gone mad with itself

My point was that Man Utd in the past have done what Man City have done now. They also have broken the british transfer record 4 times in the last 10 years.

That's irrelevant, United have been doing what they do for years, they haven't went out and spent anywhere near the money City have spent in the last 18 months.

I don't like either club so it means less to me.
