It's still a while away but the submissions period for Glasgowbury 2011 has officially opened today.

Working on the finer points at the moment. imagine the carnage that two days would cause on the hillside - lethal!

Spread the word for heavier acts to apply, I think they can tend to bypass submitting for some reason.

Just a heads up for interested acts that the submissions period for Glasgowbury 2011 closes at the end of January. Large amount of entries so far, be sure to get yours in soon.

Tickets will go on sale from Monday 18th April from HMV.com, a host of HMV stores throughout Ireland and also some local independent retailers.

Tickets will remain at 2010 prices of £30/€35 for a festival only ticket and £40/€47 for festival and camping (two nights).

Last year was such a laugh. And I was sober! Did many bands from the heavier side apply in the end up? Can't wait til July.

Sober at Glasgowbury Mullan?! Fuck me you have got to be kidding, don't remember seeing ya last year, although the whole weekend itself was fairly blurry. Be interesting to see if there are any heavier bands at it this year, I think Brains would be savage at it!
