| Is that a Grammostola pulchra? Never ever got round to owning one myself. I'd much prefer one of those than the Chilean Rose. |

It is indeed. I've had her three years now. |

| Looking to pick up a new reptile myself, although I've always fancied getting a Tarantula. Is there any particular breed that is recommended to start with? |

Every time I walk into reptile haven I say to myself 'Buy a Frilly, buy a fucking frilly already!' But I still haven't...
Only have a 3 year old male beardie at the minute... his partner passed away about 18 months ago...
Also had a Chinese water dragon, beautiful creature...mad as a hatter but very gentle... And a Plumed Basilisk that was not gentle or docile or tamable in the slightest... and liked to play dead... the cunt
Cried when he died. |

Got myself a new Florida King Snake.. Well, kinda.
I had one went missing a few weeks back, found what looked like the end of her tail on the floor and figured the cat had got her (She's a baby still).
Was in the states last week and get a call from my sister at 4am, she's freaking out, "OHMYGODTHISFUCKINGTHINGISINTHESHOPDOWNSTAIRSWHATTEHFUCK" and the like..
So after calming her down it turns out my Florida King is outside the front door of the shop downstairs and customers are scared to go in or out of the place. Owner knows I keep snakes so he's screaming upstairs about it. I tell my sister she needs to go down and pick her up, she won't but after some fiddling I persuade the shop owner to do it on her behalf. Thankfully, he saw the funny side of it..
In other news, getting an Axolotl in a week or so, does anyone have any experience with these awesome creatures? |
