You can fly from Dublin to Düsseldorf with Aer Lingus. We are going Friday morning and back Monday evening. From Düsseldorf is a train to Gelsenkirchen.
If you like to camp you need to buy a camping ticket with your normal festival ticket. Be aware that the camping tickets are always sold out before the festival. Its a great, small festival in a beautiful location.

Fuck, that's a great line-up. Pity it's the same weekend as Maryland Death Fest!

Yeah, pretty much like that. Once you're in Düsseldorf you have quite good connections to wherever you wanna go within the Ruhr area, e. g. Gelsenkirchen. Also, Düsseldorf airport itself even has/is a train station, so in case you've even done a little homework planning the trip beforehand, it'll be a piece of cake. The mentioned camping tickets are usually sold out waaay before though and I wouldn't be surprised, if they're already gone by now, btw. Concerning the line-up, here's still hoping they'll be getting KING DIAMOND over for this or in a perfect world even MERCYUFL FATE, as I know they had it in the works for last year regarding the former, but we all know what happened to the King, ffs!
