| The line-up last year was one of the best festival line-ups I've seen so the organisers definitely have their heads screwed on. 2012 is mandatory as far as I'm concerned. |

| I WAS LOOKING OUT FOR THIS AFTER YOU DESCRIBED LAST YEARS TO ME BAR, BUT I WOULDNT HAVE MUCH INTEREST IN THAT LINEUP SO FAR. |

On for it 100%.
Looks like Skavsta airport isn't too far from the site. In and out of Skavsta Baz is it? |

| Deadly lineup - I'd be up for hitting this. |

| Think I will give this fest a try as long as it doesn't clash with the Sabbath concert I will be attending (whichever one it will be). |

Skavsta is the airport I flew into this year but it's a good 350km from the festival. I ended up going from Skavsta -> Stockholm -> Sandviken to stay with Felipe and Mia for a few days before. We drove from there to the festival and it took us the guts of 8 hours or so. I have no idea what route I'll take next year. Might try and do the same as this year and travel with the Sandviken posse, or maybe fly into Gothenburg (which is closer) via Stansted. |

Keep an eye on it Mark. Last year's line-up was off the charts (and the previous 2 were great also): http://www.allmetalfest.com/muskelrock-2011-running-order/ |

| I've really wanted to get to Muskelrock for a few years. The line-ups the past few years have been great and I'm sure this one will improve greatly as time goes on. So far nothing really stands out, but that will undoubtedly change. |

| I'm kinda gutted I didn't go the first year it was on when I wanted to. There was only a couple of hundred people there. The location/venue "Tyrolen" is absolutely savage and it would have been cool to spend time there which such a small crowd. |

Keep an eye on some of the other airlines as opposed to Ryanair. SAS flights can be alright sometimes and they fly Dublin to Arlanda which is only a hour to Tyrolen. Its almost 3 hours to there from Vasteras.
I may be wrong but I think Arlanda has a train connection too which is dead handy. |

It does, so you could theoretically just train it all the way to the festival area from the airport.
As opposed to Skavsta which is a typical Ryanair entity out in the middle of bleedin' nowhere. |
