Talk of a second night in Manchester

Think I will only do the 2 nights in Manchester, and Amsterdam, doing the Euro 2010 tour fairly took it's toll on the bank balance.

• Fan Club tickets are priced per pair (2 tickets) as follows:
Manchester 101.36 GBP
Amsterdam 131.36 EUR
Berlin 135.64 EUR
Stockholm 1,282.00 SEK
Oslo 1,345.00 NOK
Copenhagen 1428.00 DDK

2 nights in Manchester?? Where'd you hear that?

Edit: Actually seeing 20th and 22nd getting thrown around for Manchester..

The MEN website and Tenclub both saying 20th. Two free days in the middle there, wonder if there will be a London date?

Bruce Springsteen is headlining both Isle of Wight and Hyde Park and PJ are headlining Isle of Wight and haven't announced a London date? I could see them doing Hyde Park

Manchester and Berlin 2nd nights to be announced on Friday.

Won't be a Hyde Park gig, Radiohead and Killers to be the other headliners apparently for HRC.

Can't see PJ headlining HRC again so soon.

So will now be hitting both Manchester gigs and the Scandinavian leg of the tour.

Flights booked for Dublin to Stockholm this morning and flight from Oslo down to Copenhagen. Bunch of the Ten Club are doing a bus down from Stockholm to Oslo so jumping on that. Digs sorted across the board too..

£140 flight to Stockholm
£35 flight Oslo to Copenhagen
£40 a night for digs (average across the 6 nights).

No flights home from Copenhagen booked yet just in case any other dates get added elsewhere.

Can't wait Smile

Well, that was a mess of epic proportions that even 10crap hasn't witnessed before....Can't believe I was checked out and paid by 5:02pm last night, and there was still people waiting hours later.

I love that this is 3 pages long of complaints, and yet 10crap has basically told them all to get stuffed...Classy.

First night in Manchester wasn't brilliant, but it never is on the first night of the tour with Pearl Jam. A couple of fairly big fuck ups took place in relation to guitar tunings which resulted in Eddie throwing a Telecaster across the stage at one point Smile

Set list was a pretty tame greatest hits without anything too heavy, We got Pilate played for the first time ever which was nice to see.

Second night there was only 4 overlaps and also a couple of other first time / first in a long time tracks with Deep and Hitchhiker getting outings. I was lucky enough to be sitting back stage for this and had my eyes open the whole time to see if Chris Cornell was going to show up for a Temple of the Dog reunion but it didn't happen sadly.

The band were far tighter and more into it on the second night and had psyched themselves up rightly for it. First three songs were Go, Animal and Hail Hail with no interruptions, the previous night it had been an elongated and stripped down version of Release instead which opened the set so you had a fair idea this night was going to be different.

So two varied setlists and two very different performances over the two nights. Lots of tracks played from No Code and a couple they'd never played before. What's not to like? Smile

It was also kind of funny to see Matt Cameron's kids sitting on stage for the whole show behind his drum kit. Not sure if you could see this from the front of the house but they were their the whole time sitting on deck chairs!

Roll on Stockholm!
