bolt thrower were great but the night took it's toll in reckon.. bar an auld/young german headbanging beside me the irish crowd were as stale as the fart i just let |

| Autopsy probably only make an effort when they're being paid properly. |

If I'm honest, I don't think the gig lived up to the hype at all. Saw a bit of Discharge I think, but the sound was so swamped that it could have been anyone playing really. Autopsy opened with the first song from the new album, and sounded OK - kept waiting for it to improve but it didn't happen. I moved all over the venue and everywhere it was a strain to discern what the song was. After years of waiting to see them, that was a massive disappointment.
Bolt Thrower played amazingly, but again the sound was warped through a bit clearer than what it was for Autopsy. They weren't a patch on what they were in Dublin a few years back I though. Flew out for a quick smoke towards the end and wasn't allowed back in even though BT were still playing. Fucked off the doorman, probably should have gotten a dig but luckily didn't and so I jogged off with the tail between my legs.
Hats off to Arkadi for sorting me out with a tshirt, that queue would've been a nightmare to join. |

Sound wasn't great but was a fair bit clearer down closer to the front, had a cracker time anyway. Merch queue was ridiculous Vallenfyre must have had such a poor crowd down the front haha
Grabbed myself a couple of Bolt Thrower tops nice to see shirts at a tenner each for a change |

Sound was good in the front and in the middle close to the front. HMV Forum is designed for pop music, so that wasn't a good choice of a venue.
I liked both Autopsy and Bolt Thrower. Found a good spot where the sound was clearer and could carry on listening to 'topsy, it was really bad from the right side of the venue.
Liked what I saw of Vallenfyre, a cross between Entombed and Paradise Lost.
Ok, setlists.
Autopsy:
Hand Of Darkness,
Twisted Mass Of Burnt Decay
In The Grip Of Winter
Severed Survival
Gasping For Air
Slaughterday
Dead
Mauled To Death
Voices
Charred Remains
Ridden With Disease
Born Undead
Bolt Thrower:
In Battle There's No Law
All That Remains
World Eater
Rebirth Of Humanity
Warmaster
IVth Crusade
Ritual
War/Remembrance
...For Victory
No Guts, No Glory
Powder Burns
Inside The Wire,
At First Light
Killchain
When Cannons Fade
WE GOT WHAT WE GOT FOR 6 POUNDS
I can't complain.
