and by christ that first band were embarassing!

The singer was sound though! Told him that I was going for a drink during their set, and did an onstage fistbump with him and all that!

"Cheers Brother" is what he said to me as I made my way to the bar Smile

Was it rehearsed or impromptu?

the turnout in Manchester wasn't amazing either, though Moho is a fairly strange venue with a big fuck off staircase in the centre of the floor. I'd be interested to see what people make of Primordial there.

sorry to hear it wasn't a big draw. was wondering at the time, when Absu last played was it with Marduk or someone similar? as brilliant as they are perhaps they're too niche to hold a show on their own.

Even more so considering the German band of the same fucking name from the 80s.

70s Krautrock band too. I mean, there are numerous Pentagrams, probably numerous Tormentors, etc, but I think a band with some self-respect and ambition will try to have a name that's both individual and unique.

Really enjoyed that tonight in London. Timed it well and missed Necronomicon although I did miss out on an onstage fistbump with the singer Crying or Very sad . I was mainly there for Impiety and enjoyed them and they got a decent reaction despite some amp/sound issues half way through. Surprisingly I really enjoyed Absu, way better than the last couple of times I saw them. They were really tight. Same setlist as Dublin. Not a big crowd, only the small bar and small entrance open.

13 Globes, that's what it was!! Thank fuck for that, was wrecking my head trying to figure it out. I thought that one was one of their best songs of the night.
