So its 10 years since the man left this place. One of the most influential frontmen in rock, the darkness and honesty that he showed in his lyrics touched so many people. Angry Chair will mark the occasion by playing a special gig to honour the man that was.

Glorious.
Funny enough, Facelift popped up on the ould mp3 player this morning and I gave the whole thing a listen, didn't even realise it was Staley's anniversary. Deadly album. |

| Would have liked to have gone to this if I had a bit more than a few hours notice. A bit of constructive criticism, advertise your gigs at the very least a few weeks in advance if you want a decent turn-out. |

| Yep, been wanting to catch these guys live for a while now but it's always the same carry on with the short notice. Sort it out! |

Apologies for this. We gave been trying for a while to organize a bigger show in the button factory but they wernt too keen on having it on holy Thursday so we left it. We were then approached by fibbers at the start of the week so we had to more or less pull this out of no where. We wanted to do it on the date regardless of the small amount of time it left us to get it together. Once again apologies and we will be sure to give advance notice next time. |
