Why does this band/album not get more love?is it cos theyre black?, its an absolute classic, killer riffs, savage raw production, insane vocals and just sweet sweet tunes, not a bad song on here.

best start to metal album ever?

Yep, huge fan. Their LP and 7" are killer but the real highlight appears on the "Cleveland Metal" compilation from 1983 in the form of the track "Taken By Force". It's phenomenal. You should be able to find it on YouTube.

^yep have the entire recorded output in digital form, if anything ever deserved a reissue/rediscovery its this, you could fit everything on one disc.

The s/t was re-released on Auburn Records a while back I think. Great album.

Would you be a doll and send a brother a link to that digital output? If it ain't a problem of corpse.

theres an interesting post in the comments there giving a good update and says the auburn reissue never happened, thats 2 years ago so i guess it mightve come out recently, if not then i guess its ok to post that link since this is an album that simply MUST be heard (still love to hear it on a slab o wax though).

Auburn don't do vinyl these days as far as I know so if there is a reissue it's probably CD only.

I got my copy of the LP for 15E at Wacken a few years ago without the 7".

I only know the track 'Taken By Force'. Masterful!

It was a staple in our practice space for a good while. I'm gonna have a listen to the other songs now. Cheers Mr 138.

Bought the album in 1995 for a quid. And from same store, Manilla Road "Invasion" for £2.
