Just listened to it and struggled to get through the whole album.
I've always been a huge fan but this album is well and truly dire.
I knew it wasn't gonna be amazing but fuck me this is beyond a joke.
They even have a track called 'Me and the boys'
Rolfs vocals sound well and truly fucked.
The songs sound a lot slower tempo.
The production sounds shocking too.
Anybody else listened to this abomination yet? |

I take it then you don't recommend me paying £40 for the box set of it? |

I'd gladly spend a lot more than that if it was a return to form.
This isn't even the worst of the songs on the album

That's bloody awful. I think i'll spend the box set money on the new Accept and Overkill vinyls instead. |

That track reminds me of Thin Lizzy's waiting for an alibi but not in a good way do.

Been listening to it everyday for the last week and a bit, and I have to say I jumped the gun. It's a real grower, production is no where near as bad as I was led to believe.
Some good tunes on it and Rolf's vocals are not too bad.To be honest it blows Rogues En Vogue out of the water! (pun intended)
Give it another chance, I would give it a very solid 3/5.
Shadowmaker, Piece Of The Action, Locomotive and Riding On The Tide are as good as anything he's wrote in the last load of years.
Me And The Boys is cheesy but so wrong its right. Not turn it of cheesy like The Angel And The Gambler!!! |

I really don't like what I've heard of this. I didn't think it was going to a patch on the earlier stuff anyway, so no disappointment if I don't like the entire album.
Rolf has given us some absolute classic albums and I'm happy enough with that. I still listen to Death or Glory on a weekly basis and I'm currently learning how to play The Battle of Waterloo. |

| Sounds to me like Rolf has been re-making Pile of Skulls over & over since. |

That song is fuckin class, what are you talking about.
Running wild are on the neverending lists of bands to check out, I've never heard them properly bar that song. Where should I start? |

| Port Royal, Blazon Stone & Pile of Skulls are my favourites but some here would probably go older again with the likes of Under Jolly Roger etc. |
