MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS emerged in the beginning of 1994 after mythical battles among the ruins of desolate sanctuaries, intoning a thundering dark DOOM METAL, which remit us to antique tales full of darkness and enigmas.
In 1995, MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS featured on the compilation THE WINDS OF A NEW MILLENIUM, by DEMISE REC.
In 1996, MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS released its first album SPHERE OF NEBADDON - THE DAWN OF A DYING TYFFERETH. The album caused excellent reaction in the underground scene and lots of reviews announced MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS as the new Brazilian revelation.
In July 2000, MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS released REMOTI MERIDIANI HYMNI (TOWARDS THE MAGNIFICENT REALM OF THE SUN). The album was acclaimed by the underground scene and consequently, MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS became a big name in the Brazilian scene.
In 2005, MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS released its third album. THE VANISHED PANTHEON is more intense and chaotic than the band’s previous albums. The album was released by the labels FIREDOOM MUSIC in Europe and SOMBER MUSIC in Brazil.
In 2011, MYTHOLOGICAL COLD TOWERS released its newest album via the German label Cyclone Empire, where they signed a multi-album deal. IMMEMORIAL brings 7 songs of pure DOOM METAL in the nineties way, with epic passages, sullen vocals and obscure lyrics. Prepare for finest desolate and haunting feelings… |

MTC? Mythological Towering Cold?
Savage laugh at this, cheers to Jim for the slot, and everyone who came to watch our set. Mythological Cold Towers were smashing, really great band. Looking forward to seeing them when they're back here again. Sound chaps/chappette! |
