it's weird, i know a few boys that were big Sepultura fans back in the mid 90s - and for some reason they wouldn't consider going to a Sepultura gig, but they'd go see whatever crap Max is peddling.
Negative. Max's stuffs appauling also, though out of the whole lot of it must admit, the first Cavalera Conspiracy album is the best of the lot....... as was the live show..... think things went downhill again after that.
as for sepultura, i used to be a big fan up till roots..... its just not the same band anymore, only one guitar, no max, no igor.... theres more original sepultura members not in the band than i n it.... |

Seen Cavalera Conspiracy last year at Hellfest and they were decent. Probably wont bother with this show, I'd probably watch them at a fest but wouldn't pay £20 to see them. Sort of same as Baggy, Roots onwards stuff just doesn't match up to their early material. |

I think Sepultura's later output is better than Soulfly's. I also think Derrick Green is a brilliant front man and delivers the old Seps stuff well. In terms of recent records Dante XII really surprised me. A full album of songs full of great riffs. Soulfly haven't released anything as poweful as that. Max is also a spa. I haven't heard the latest Sepultura offering yet but I'm sure it's a damn sight better than any Soulfly record.
Fuck off. |

| was just thinking about the Seps the other day and it must be about 20 years ago since Fudge Tunnel blew them offstage in the Ulster Hall on the Arise tour, some gig that was! |

| That Limelight one in 2003 was a fucking snorefest. Can remember looking at my watch and the time dragged in. Didn't they fuck the support that night too? |

Has Max and Kisser not kissed and made up yet? Surly if they did, a reunion would be a big thing and make them tonnes of money. Maybe even headline spots on some stages at festivals as opposed to playing toilets.
edit *ahem* not that i'm calling the limelight a toilet *ahem* A mighty fine venue with might fine staff and promotors. |

I'd imagine the pound signs haven't thawed tensions enough yet. Give it time though |

| I would cry if Max rejoined Sepultura. He already has his own perfectly decent band to ruin. |

| How anyone can see Max's return as a positive thing is a mystery to me. |

Two tickets for this for sale if anyone is interested. Face value minus booking fee, so £20 each.
Don't need them now as we've decided to head to Bloodstock that weekend. |
