I just recently found out that the following musicians choose new careers..... which got me wondering what other "well known" musicians returned to "normal" day jobs....or hold down regular jobs along along with their own gigs...
Haggis (The Four Horsemen) - now a Medical Student
Josh Silver (Type O Negtive) - now a Paramedic
Matt Barlow (Iced Earth) - now a Poilceman |

There's plenty more too. Having said that, there are a substantial amount of name musicians that have to work day jobs in tandem with their band work. Most of the guys in Entombed work a day job for example. |

| I'd say the majority of bands have to work day jobs. |

As stated though, day jobs in metal are hardly rare. |

what does he do?I'm curious.
I dunno if he has a day job now, but apparently Mike Patton worked in a video shop while Faith No More were recording "Angel Dust". I doubt he was rolling in it exactly, but I doubt would have needed the money at that point either. |

| I am retarded, it wasn't Jonny Greenwood, it was Alex James from Blur who works on his cheese farm. No really, he even has a range of foods on ASDA shelfs now |
