In my case I cant actually say I remember feeling nervous at all, possibly because it was only families and close friends and we'd been together for an eternity before tying the knot.
Exact same here. Wait eleven years and then just get married with parents and siblings in attendance, early on in the day, and it's easy. Bit late for you to change tack at this stage I would imagine though. All the best for both of you. |

Congrats!!! and best of luck.
I actually wasn't too nervous for mine. Luckily I left the speeches to my best man (brother) and dad (and father-in-law). |

| Congratulations Ciaran and the very best of luck for the future. I'll be married 21 years this month & I can put my hand on my heart and say it was the best day of my life. I still remember my face aching at the end of the day I laughed & smiled that much. |

Hang on, John. Let me get this straight... Your dad is also your father in law? I know they do things differently on the continent but, Jesus, marrying your own sisiter??? |

Pfft..this is soooo last week
Congrats and best wishes CT, here's what little I can help you with while it's still fresh in my mind:
1) Don't drink before the ceremony
2) Tell people if they make speeches you'll kill them
3) Have an absolute blast
oh, you might want to stock up on painkillers now for the hangover tomorrow too..though on that note, you might want to also avoid letting your new missus order a round of margaritas at 11 o'clock tonight..trust me on that one! |

Congratulations chap - will be tagging right behind you on 31st July in das Vaterland so will presumably calm my nerves by munching an enormous German sausage. Well, that reception won't pay for itself like.
Anyways, I know you made the best choice possible for the wedding band...

I got my date at the altar next year. Can't see myself being nervous but herself is already panicking and having nightmares about it.
Best of luck to you both ciaran. |
