...in that ad above! Jesus Christ, they look like a motley crew of, uh, Motley Crue wannabes. That is not Thin Lizzy. FOAD!

Look at your man on the right. It's like his hair has realised what the hell is going on and it trying to fly him out of the photo and to safety.

Going under that name as a live band all those years is one thing, recording a new album though...somewhere in Sutton someone's certainly turning in his grave.

I dunno Andy. Downey's using his FULL DRUM KIT. Like the whole thing. Wild.

Fair play to them for hiring the Lion King there second from the right.

The one and only person from the original lineup that could get away with having a revolving array of characters around him while still using that name is dead as a fucking doornail. CEASE AND DESIST!

Totally agree Dennis. It's a complete farce. I saw Lizzy with Lynott twice - I couldn't be arsed to watch the covers band but for them to enter the studio and record a THIN LIZZY album - fuck that Mad

Thank fuck for Ad-blocker.

It's absolute sacrilege they're recording a new album.

Surprised that Downey is going along with this guff, as others have said playing covers is a little hard to take but understandable, but releasing an album, have they no shame?

If they want to record stuff they should ditch the name.

If they got Brian Robertson onboard they could complete this joke in style.

Yeah..but..like..they're letting him use his FULL drumkit, so that's probably why.

They should change the name to "Very Thinly Lizzy" then people could go have a pint, enjoy the covers and everyone walks away in good spirits.

They are ok for a night out.....but i've saw them a few times now and sort of bored with them already....prefer the Sykes line up tbh.....don't really know why Darren Wharton is there, can't say i've noticed alot of keyboards in the mix. Laughing
