A couple of posters (was there even one made up) for this in the venue during Burning Oak and it may have been a different story.
Totally wasted opportunity...
Not that it would have been packed, or anything anyway.
But there was practically zero promotion done for this gig.
Still! Both bands stepped up to the task at hand.
Couple of new t-shirts to piss the wife off.
And a few new CD's added to the collection of local heroes.
All the best to Jim on his new adventure!
Not too sure what's going to happen gig-wise down here for the foreseeable.
Limerick is the new King of Munster Metal, by the look of things. |

True!
Got to put faces and handshakes to a few of the heads from on here, which is always good.
Chatted with Jazzer and Andy from Skewered and Connor from Putrefy (thanks for the promo, Lad!!!).
And talked shite with Quirkey for the night, too.
Actually! Andy mentioned that one of their first gigs was with Putrefy. And the turn-out was dire then too. So maybe it's just a Putrefy/Skewered jinx...!!! |

| hhahahh it wasnt our fault!!! I enjoyed it and was fantastic to get down to Cork again. For those that did come out to see the show, thanks, hope you enjoyed it! To our knowledge from a few of the locals, Cork is on a massive decline for its metal shows which is damn shame because the An Crusican Lan is by far one of the best venues for metal. Cheers to Jaime (best of luck with your adventure to Malta and good luck for the future) and cheers to Ciaran for all hospitality. Good to see Brian Q again and yourself john - hopefully see ya again mate. Matt- go to bed!!!! yeooooooooo |

Shite promotion = shite crowd, what can ya do. Definite booboo missing the opportunity of Burning Oak to promote this.
Anyhoo, great gig all the same. Enjoyed Skewered but it was surely the best Putrefy performance I've seen down through the years - killer tight and the new ditties are finely crafted, can't wait to hear what's held in reserve. Only shame was that more didn't get to witness it. Fair fecks to the bands for making the long trips down anyway, thanks a million for the show.

Ha, I think I did more than my fair share of shite talk!! Apologies to Skewered for slagging off ye're artwork (even if ye were asking for it ). |
